Project Challenge: Strict Standards, Continuous Refinement
Our challenge was to produce a critical precision aesthetic part made from PBT+50%GF material, measuring 24x28x45mm, with a fine textured surface. This product demanded extremely tight dimensional tolerances, high concentricity, and excellent flatness. Further complicating matters, we needed to achieve mass production with a 16-cavity mold, ensuring each cavity's product dimensions remained within stringent tolerances. The PBT+50%GF material itself offers high rigidity and wear resistance, but its molding process requires precise control to guarantee dimensional stability.

- Detailed Mold Flow Analysis and Gate Optimization: In the early stages of mold design, we utilized advanced mold flow analysis technology to precisely simulate melt flow and optimize gate positions. This ensured absolute filling balance and consistency across all 16 cavities, effectively avoiding common issues in traditional multi-cavity molds such as underfilling, sink marks, or stress concentration.
- Unique Mold Cooling Channel Design: We innovatively engineered a proprietary high-efficiency cooling channel system to achieve uniform cooling for each product cavity. This guarantees consistent and uniform shrinkage across all cavities, fundamentally ensuring the dimensional accuracy and geometric stability of every precision part.
- World-Class Precision Manufacturing: Combined with our state-of-the-art precision machining equipment, including Röders CNC (0.002mm accuracy), Mitsubishi WEDM (0.003mm accuracy), and MAKINO EDM (0.003mm accuracy), and a stringent quality control system, we ensured the ultimate precision of the mold itself, providing a solid foundation for precision product molding.
